Awoo Wallpaper
A practice/warm-up project to try out the new CC tools and different workflows.
The exercise was to create an aesthetically pleasing digital wallpaper based off Tucker Preston’s tag. It was more of a challenge than I expected to translate the simple shapes and energy of spray-paint into a hard-edge graphic style without any of the classic spray-paint tropes.
Evolution
Creating the wordmark was created with heavy inspiration from graffiti tags, modern logos, and a touch of calligraphy
